Mince Madras

Served from a Raspberry Pi in Wythenshawe UK





Ingredients for Four Servings:-

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
2 Onions
2 Red Chilli Peppers
1 tsp Salt
6 Cloves Garlic
1 Large Piece of Chopped Ginger
400g Tin Chopped Tomatoes
2 tsp Turmeric
2 tsp Ground Cumin
2 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
2 tbsp Curry Powder
300g Vegetarian Mince
Long Grain Rice







Method:

Chop the two onions into chunks then put them in the blender. Add two chopped red chilli peppers and chopped ginger with crushed garlic cloves. Blend until you have a paste. Put the paste in a wok with vegetable oil and fry on a medium heat for five minutes. Next add the ground spices and toast for two minutes. Add the mince and tin of chopped tomatoes. Cook for ten minutes on a medium heat stirring ocassionally. Serve on a plate of rice.
